With over 3,000 lakes and ponds water is considered an integral part of the Adirondack landscape

The high peaks region of the Adirondack Park is in upstate New York and is comprised of a group of mountains, 42 which are over 4000 feet in elevation. The area also includes mountain streams and beautiful lakes.
